And honestly, that’s fair. From the outside, it probably looks like a simple little product.
What people don’t see is everything that goes into it behind the scenes.
We’ve spent years building KUDU the way we think a business should be built. We care about the quality, we try to make designs that people actually enjoy, and we answer customers like real humans, not scripts. It’s not perfect, but we try to do things properly.
And the good part is, it works. We’ve had thousands of happy customers, great reviews, and people coming back again and again. That’s the part we’re most proud of.
But here’s the part that’s a bit less visible.
Having a good product doesn’t mean people will find you.
These days, if you want to grow an online business, you have to pay for attention. In our case, that mostly means Facebook and Instagram ads. And not just a little bit — a lot.
It’s not as simple as turning ads on and watching sales come in. There’s a lot of testing, a lot of things that don’t work, and a constant feeling that costs are slowly going up. Sometimes it feels like you’re spending money just to stay in the same place.
I think that’s the part I didn’t fully understand when we started.
If I’m being completely honest, I wish more people found us naturally. Through someone sharing a magnet they loved, or a friend recommending us, or just stumbling across us somewhere.
Because our products are actually made for that. They’re visual, they’re fun, and they’re the kind of thing people like to show.
So yes, this is me saying it out loud.
